Hello! We're back and fully recovered from a GDC full of meetings, parties, and showing off the demo of our first original game: The World Next Door!
Over the week, we met with press and industry friends at our publisher's offices in San Francisco to show off our pre-alpha build. We got a lot of valuable feedback, and right after GDC we saw some great first impressions from Polygon, Gameinformer, and Venturebeat!
Outside of the VIZ offices, we showed off our demo at The Anime Party that we hosted with VIZ! Thanks for coming, chatting with us, and playing our game for the first time.
We also had the opportunity to continue sharing The World Next Door at GDC by having a station at the Intel Booth and bringing the VS mode build to the BYO indie party. Overall a lot of new people got to experience the demo and we loved having the opportunity to finally show off all the progress we've made.
Post GDC, we’re in the midst of our next sprint to: the Alpha build! We'll keep you all updated as development for The World Next Door continues!
