Rose City Games is Hiring a Games Producer! (Portland, OR)

A Producer at Rose City Games is the keeper who leads our games into pre-production all the way through launch. They keep our team organized and energized through strong communication, creative problem solving, and a positive attitude. We’re looking for someone with initiative who can manage multiple ongoing projects within the studio, and push for strong collaboration between our team and partners.

About Us:

Rose City Games is an up-and-coming indie studio specializing in developing new, original titles with exciting partners. Our mission is to make better games by assembling teams of passionate developers for whom hard work, authenticity, and creativity are top priorities. We are based out of a shared co-working office space with other creative tech companies and game developers in the historical Ladd’s Addition neighborhood of SE Portland.


Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of production processes for interactive software development

  • 1-3 years of production and project management experience

  • Troubleshooting production issues

  • Communications with RCG clients and team members 

  • Planning and organization of projects

  • Familiarity with Asana, Github, Google Docs or similar tools

  • Delegating tasks to RCG team members

  • Input on creative decisions (art, game design, narrative, etc.)

  • Contributing to Rose City Games production policies

Bonus Skills:

  • Games industry experience, including working with platforms, publishers, and game studios

  • A strong desire to share stories about process, innovation, and design to enrich the gamedev community

  • Experience shipping at least one game on Steam, consoles, or App Store / Google Play

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience playing games, new and old, indie and AAA, and a variety of genres
